Angela O’Byrne, AIA is the president and owner of Perez, APC, a 65 year-old architecture, landscape architecture, planning and interior design firm in New Orleans. When Hurricane Katrina inundated New Orleans with water in 2005, Ms. O’Byrne was serving as president of AIA New Orleans and used this position to push for a coalition of funding sources to put on the first Governor’s Conference on Rebuilding in November, 2005. Ms. O’Byrne has been recognized by City Business as “Woman of the Year” and her firm has received numerous awards for design excellence. |
