Pamela Broom currently works for the New Orleans Food and Farm Network Farm Yard Project Director. Before this current position, she was the program assistant of Farm to City Market Basket Coordinator for Growing Power Inc. in Chicago. In 2006, she acted as the Outreach Coordinator for the Hurricane Katrina Employment Project. She has had over fifteen years of progressive experience and training in nonprofit administration. Pamela holds a Bachelor of General Studies in Humanities at Tulane University and was accepted as a Louis Stokes Fellow in the Master of Science Social Administration program at Case Western Reserve University in Ohio. Active in community development locally and nationally, Pamela is a key member and participant of many cultural, economic and community projects and groups. |
